Lessons learned

The tagline of AOPA Flight Training magazine is “A good pilot is always learning.” Now don’t get me wrong: It’s important to learn from your own mistakes, but it’s even better if you can incorporate lessons learned by others into your thought process. In that regard, Neptunus Lex (a retired Navy fighter pilot) posted an outstanding anecdote entitled “Pay-off” on his blog a few weeks ago.
